ASW 2020 New 1 Billion Units

    in your statement you mention

    "According to the report, the new units will be launched this coming 1st of September,"

    may i know what report is that and where it come from?? i am totally no idea of this additioner units. if i know i will invest. pls inform me for the up coming increasing fund by PNB. tq very much meshio....

    when the ASW 2020 & ASM start launched, the people who already had the saving book just went to top up, the procedure was very fast. Somebody also helped their friends took more than one saving book for top up. But for the new shares, the procedure is very slow. For my experience, I got No.1 that day, when the cashier just finished the procedure, the cashier told me the shares was sold out. You know, how I felt at the time, I was very disappointed . I hope I can buy it at the next coming launch.

    Dear Meshio,

    It is definitely a plus where we can invest in the fund.
    However it appears very odd to me that we need to bring solid cash to subscribe unless we maintain accounts with the agent banks i.e MBB, RHB and CIMB. For post office only cash. Imagine the risks involved to bring thousands of RM in cash to the banks or post offices.
    Not even bank cheques are acceptable to banks or post office. Only ASW HQ accepts bank cheques. The biggest risk is at the Post Office of which not every branch is with security guards. We are surely inviting troubles at one time or another.
    Can something be done so that these banks accept bank cheques for the subscription.

    Is there any yearly statement or personal statement for Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020??
    I have done the withdrawal is there statement to show the transaction??
    I do the withdrawal with effective services. Satisfied for the services provided by the agent in RHB bank...

    Pei Si: You might want to report to the nearest ASNB branch and get them to replace you with a new passbook. You can check the branches here:

    ymw, I am not exactly sure when new ASW2020 units are launched, but "traditionally", there are usually launched right before the announcement of the National Budget, which is sometime around Hari Merdeka.
