This is something everybody MUST learn. Get rich quickies not only distracted the person involved from the basic responsibilities and the tasks they should first complete it but also changes their characteristic, the way they talk, their mind set, and even worse, it breaks the heart of people who really cares about them. These things never stop. It just kept going on and on and on with different schemes, different 'products', different calculations with the same old tactics. Something new? That's only something those upper levels want you to believe. It is NOT! Learn, be smart.

IMHO, if they make money, fine it's their business. What I really despise about these schemes is they give this false sense of hope to people. It exploits the very mind of the human, especially in a competitive and materealistic society now, which is full of greed, nothing gets more cruel than this. Agreed with anonymous about changing one to the worse as I've had friends who turned to the worse.

in China, MLM is still illegal. Doesn't stop them from operating underground though, I think.
Wouldn't categorize all as evil too, though I think approaching secondary school students is a bit too much.

hahah, i know everybody have dream, but do remind urself that dream is something that unachievable, but vision, yes, it can be achievable.. As u said, it's a dream, MLM is a dream. I have seen so many ppl did this, but non of them are really get what they want in this. Everytime, when they trying to push u to join them, they kept telling u, how good is their product, how perfect is their marketing plan, but end up how come they always pull themselve off from the MLM after a period of time? Didn't they say their plan is perfect? i really don't know why..u tell me...
If u really want to make money, put more effort in ur job. Don't dream too much, coz no point to daydream since u just wasting time on that.

to mr/mrs anonymous number 4, I know MLM ppl in China that were operating underground wayyy before the gov decided to amend the direct sales act(in which MLM is illegal), now that it is amended and MLM is STILL illegal (does not apply to all, but even Amway is hit, I figure most others should be illegal as well, correct me if i'm wrong.), what would stop them to continue operation? Anyway, this is out of topic ;) And you're right, thats what I think, do I have the right to think? :)

I have been into a few MLM talks and I personally joined a few. It never worked out as there is a few misconception that the "minority" of the MLM ppl is preaching.
1. Your work and yr boss is exploiting you and you will never get rich working for your boss. -> I have a few close friends who is through hard work, was a millionaire.
2. MLM is the ONLY best thing that happen to you. -> If you have never seen more, then MLM might looks like the only way out. Try this book, Multiple Stream of Income by Robert Allen.
3. They talks abt how much you can earn. According to Kiyoksaki, that is just 1/2 of the equation. The other half is abt how you spend the money you make (how you invest the money). some MLM even ask you to commit to liabilities upon joining (buying a car) for the reason of showing off to your prospect. OMG!
4. Mental hype and creating a dream. Both adds up together equals brain washing. It is good, if you really know what you are doing. This is part of neuro-linguistic programming which is used by ppl like Tony Robbins. But the sad thing is that, the MLM ppl, uses their will to enforce such mental hype on you. It means that you are buying on other ppl's dream and other ppl vision. It became an unnatural vision, deep inside that dream doesn't belongs to you. You became another person! You are mentally weak!
5. Wrong motif! If you enter the business (in fact any business) to make money, then you will end up being a crook. For you are not adding value to the society but you want the society to provide you with what you want. Ask yourself, are you into the business because you want to help ppl or you are more excited about the mkt plan and the money.
There are more, but if you really know what you are doing and not banging yr head on the wall with all those mental hype and dreaming, by all means do it.
I have seen successful ppl in mlm with all the charisma and all the good spiritual values. I have seen some crooks as well, claiming making a 100k/mth from the plan and when you look at the total sales from the counter adds up together also not yet 100k. So how can the company pays him 100k/mth in compensation.
MLM is here to stay, but yes, please do not disturb the mind of the students. Study doesn't mean you are doomed to be an employee for the rest of your life. To me, studying help me in my critical thinking and maturity.
Lastly, don't be a millionaire wannabe! Learn step by step on how to be one!

Well, i knw very well that there are ppl making a lot of money out there bcoz of mlm, telling ppl that giving them 5 figures of income, buying BMW Sport Car or watever... the list go on...
Well, is enough to tell me about those who are doing well, y not start telling me now those who still cant make it, still financially independent? those who are suffering, those who even having debt now?
Or is there anyone from MLM wanna tell me, most ppl inside are earning 5 figures?? everyone driving at least a BMW??
MLM is just another job(definitely not business, else than the one who own it~) to me I dont mean to be offensive to ALL MLM agents, BUT, im definitely pointing at those who constantly trying to give ppl fake hope and in the end ruined ppl's ordinary life...

MLM done in sincere and honest way is just like an own business profession. This can be seen across the pond in developed countries.
The whole problem in Asia lies in the mentality of the peole involved turning it to brainwash the less suspecting people. Its a disgrace and a masquerade and its become a load of crock.
Best example is Lampu Berger, the upline recruit the younger people to instill a mindset that is so fake that it becomes a show. Find yourself at Wisma HLA in the evening to see all these people in the lobby literally best dressed for a simple ordinary sales talk?!?! these people dont even dress this well when they report in for duty in their 9-5 jobs. Its just uncalled for having to dress so well to attend a sales talk to sell a lamp?!?!?
I have encountered more than one MLM sales pitch and Lamp Berger takes the cake. I accepted an invitation to attend one of these meetings one fine day and I decided to dress down for the occasion and boy did I get the stares from the so-called-yuppies (my foot!) These young and innocent crowd gave me the stares that implied a sense of superiority which makes my stomach churn thinking about it. Knowing that they have just embarked into the real/working world its really sad to see them bening led into the wrong avenue.

Yes, actually you summed up the essence of doing business in your first paragraph- sincerity and honesty.
When one lacks the two elements above, we get all kinds of illegal businesses booming in the name of a growing economy. Yes, we can even slap "LEGAL" to some of this business, since it benefits directly to the entity who slaps it and the one that is slapped. As long as the slappings benefit the slapped and the slappers, nobody is going to complain, not even the victims.
So, if we cannot change how businesses are run, how businessman behaves, how they go around selling their stuff, we can only help ourselves by equiping ourselves with the knowledge and information about the events around us.
Yes, we might say NO to LB today, but I can guarantee there'll be many other scams that's looming and being planned right now at this moment in the drawing board, waiting only to victimize the uninformed.
Say NO to GREED and a lot of our problems with Get Rich Quick scams will be solved.
Again, there's no free lunch!

Once upon a time, I had a friend who joined lb. Being the aggressive type, he was a typical candidate to be recruited. One night, he invited me to the mamak for a drink and some of his friends joined us. They were his upline and some other equally/higher ranked lb members. In the course of events, a purely social situation became a "bitching about business" session. Apparently my friend, we shall call him A, was upset that his other friend, B, kept telling him that he'll (B) "think about it" everytime A tried to get him to attend a sales pitch meeting. I confirmed my suspicions about lb the moment all of the newcomers started telling A that B was not a true friend, that he did'nt "respect" him and that A should "fuck him off" because he wasn't a true friend. Note, both A and B have been friends for 20 years. There is something wrong with a company that says they "build partnerships" but tell their members to slag off people who are not interested. Bluntly put, the only other people I know who have this effective a brainwashing technique are Al Qaeda and Aum Shinri Kyo.

Let me ask you a question guys; is whoever you know managed to generate money from this buz or not?
I heard that many qualified people (lecturers, docs, ..) have joined DCHL, do you think those people will be successful? According to your arguments, these guys have already contributed enough to the society and unfortunately they don't have money after long service. Rewording for professionals is not fair which encouraged them to run after few more $$ here and there.

Make NUMEROUS police reports that you've been cheated by this scam (if many reports are made, the police will have to do something right?) . If your answer is the authority is corrupted, why not go to the medias? If you think the media is also corrupted, why not go to the consumer association? If they are also corrupted, then.. then.. i guess you guys/gals dun have a point. If've even asked Steven (antilampeberger.blogspot.com) to make his LB hardcore group proud by role modeling this. Go to one of these avenues, identify himself (or his gang), make his claims and be the hero to save Malaysian from this scam. I'm sure he'll be the focus of the whole nation so dun worry about getting killed by SYN people cause if anything were to happen to him, SYN members will be the main suspects. guys/gals, let's not 'talk the walk' just like any other useless leaders but 'walk the talk'
oh btw, i also realized that SYN/DCHL has their network all over asia (including Singapore and Australia)... does that mean SYN/DCHL bribes all the country's authorities? MLM..lampe berger..they are so smart..they made me dreamed about the riches, they made me line up for 3 hours in the bank to open a new account, and deposit RM 250 into it and even think of cheating my friends for the Rm 2345 needed for investment. luckily Mother Mary showed up in my dreams and because of that, i became a catholic and now i go to church instead of LB office!!

your attitude had shown us what we are complaining about here. so "brain washed", so "samseng", so "doomed". but somehow u are rite bout something. there are countries, many countries in this world that still allow this kind of social rubbish to exist. there are obvious weaknesses in the law of let say malaysia. so, u r now obviously talk like samseng telling us that we cant do anything with what u guys are doing. u are exploiting the BUG of our malaysian law.

As a human being, i'm here to say a few things... About 10 months ago i started this business(LB)... I have a lot of dreams since my friend already bought his own car here... He showed me the opportunities and i took it... I find it's really hard to find the capital as i'm the poorest among my friends... I dream about helping out my father as soon as possible as we have not own our own vehicles for the past 20 years living in kk... When i started this business, i found out that all the things u guys were talking about actually happened to me... I failed and didn't earn any money... I started to blame all the LB'ers back here... I agreed some of the members didn't take a good care at their business partners like me and i was to be left alone... I remembered i wasn't earning any money since nine months ago... But, i was wondering alone then, why is my side partners keep earning so much money... Their members keep growing every day... One day, i came at them and ask a simple question? "how u guys do it?" Simple answer... "Be yourself, and just follow those who succeded." Last, i changed my mind sets and started doing this business properly, i started to come more to the office, started to ask opinions on other partners and seek helps... I'd always asked my downlines partners not to push people...But to be just more sensitive each day... So, we won't loose any friends, won't loose any realationship... Just listen and follow... Back here then, i'm just making 1k plus amonth... Not mush but still it's an honest money... Just like Steven Yip saying... Thanks Steven Yip for telling me on how to do this business properly... what if 5 people rob for you and they each recruits 5 people to rob for you? Traditional MLM is good, buy and sell, just like a distributor. but not LB style, earn money by recruiting, surely product is good, no comment on that, but you have to think how long you can use for RM30,000 product, it doesn't make sense to buy in so lot of product.

LB is not an "Investment", the real investment is you throw in a certain amount of $ and it will roll interests for you, but with LB investment, you throw in money, and you have to work though, it's just a game, money game, so if your LB friend tell you LB is an investment, you better ask him/her to throw his/her RM30k into saving insurance, it's annual return average is 6-7%, higher than bank interests, covered malaysia inflation rate, with no risk. basically if you throw in RM15k, you can get back RM500k after 20years. another kind of investment is mutual fund, average annual return may goes up to 18%, little risk, finally is stock market, plantation, oils, finance or industrial market. should learn more about it, this is real Investment. not LB kind of MLM.

and if you really wish to get rich fast, build your own traditional business, just imagine, if you have RM30k on hand, you can set up a small factory that be able produce product, example you produce biscuit, and you look for export buyer, once the buyer interest with your product, you convince them to take 1 container each month, you know basically how much you can earn? let us do a simple calculation, i take myself as example, I'm a snack manufacturer: 1 can of snacks- cost: RM2.00 selling price:RM4.00
selling price-cost = RM2.00 (margin)
1 container can load in 20,400cans
20,400cans X RM2.00 = RM40,800 (margin)
RM40,800 X 12 month = RM489,600
It take 2 years to make you a millionaire.
this is 1 of the way to get rich fast in so many way rather than LB.
hye..thank god i didnt join lb..i know about lb from a fren of mine. she tells me dats its a biznes and good one. have a lots of potential. i ask her to explain to me how u get ur earng. she refuse to tell me and ask me,well actually persuade(kinda force) me to folo her to the dchl hq in kl. so 1 day, i went there. they gave me a tour around the office on all levels even the marquise office..the expensive lamps and beauty products and they told me that u cant afford to buy it unless u join lb bcoz u will earn a lot of money and the product if very expensive. it surprise me becoz i already have one at home which the value of the lapm is rm3k whick my dad bought in france years ago b4 lb even come to malaysia. i though "who are u guys to judge us".well i just keep it to me.
next, they take me to see their official briefers(i dont know wat they call them). he explain to me about the prodcuts, dats fine n next he explains to me how u get the profit. the thg is, he doesnot focus on selling the product but by find people to invest in lb. they just use the product as a skin to cover their real activities.
since im a student, he thinks that i will be very interested with all the richness d world can give me..telling me that i will be in the high social circle or in the rich group if i join and aint that wats a gurl wants?????oh...plz...dat is so just not me..im not a poor and desperate to join..im happy being myself
luckily, im not a person who just jump in. i tell him ok and i will consider since they money 2.5k is not a prob.and they all come to me and say "y think?just join ma...here its all about speed.." thank god im a strict person and i stick my ground.
what puzzles me is that, y must they focus on bringg people to invest instead try to sell the product to people? why use the product as a skin, hiding behind the product and y u must join lb if u want to buy the produtc? cant we buy the product only? i dont get the discount,,find with me..

fiuh, for the last 2 weeks i had been introduce to this syn members by my best friend. i met different people, the beginner (franchise) dunno how to spell it, baron, count, challenge marquis, marquis. at first, i though like WOW really got people who get high pay, can buy this and that n so on so on. but then i read and heard about being push to invest 30k+ something for count.. aiyoh.. im only a student.. where can i get the money.. dats a lot nia.. even for that 2.5k i still feel guilty coz borrowing from my friends with no reasons (so not me, hate to lie, jaga waterface lagi).. guess what, i haven't use their money... still in bank.. i prefer to not berhutang n better use my own money but not enough ley... hihi...
when i went to this dchl office i realize that this fellow (u know who) put their money to buy branded or expensive thing as to make them look smart,grand,and luxury just to promote their so called "luxury" in front of their potential investor so that it will convince them how rich they are... . nah.. im not easily influenced by that, coz i always meet real rich and successful people and believe me u can differentiate who is pretending to be rich people or the real one. (i know there a rich people there but not all rite)
actually i wonder what are they doing at their so called office anyway. some of them just standing outside the office talking n repeating the same thing wad they told me to new comers. i went to dat office many times and that is the only MLM office until now dat i didnt see any sales (u know like people buy stuff) compare to other MLMs. people were just keep on talking and talking the same thing non stop like robot. keep on saying that they x sell product but networking. what the purpose of the products then? expensive plak tu.. theres a franchase dat just start for 3 weeks dgn bangganya told me dat she rejected a job offer coz she wants to concentrate to this business. you know for me thats a silly act. i understand if she already gain a lot from this business but she just a beginner .. she datang office pun just tengok2 n just talk2.. its better for her to accept the job offer while doing the business.. when dah stable then maybe its fine for here to quit.
a lot of things to share actually, after saw with my own eyes what happened and read all the articles about pyramid scam (mengkayakan org atasan?) n this syn thingy i dont want to join. but when I look at my bestfriend face that really want me to join.. duh.. dunno wad to say. she invested 30+++ k already, she's a student, she borrowed the money from a lot of people, including me. should i join? or not? now she seems like think about money, money and money. money is really important nowadays but it still not everything. money cant buy real friendship if u get what i mean. i may not a big spender, but i rather saving compare to join this kind of business coz i will not just cost 2.5k. it will be more than that. fuel, makan2, attend this and that, reload card,my time.
for those who want to join, think carefully, dont let money change you, dont let people force you to do something that you cant. dun berhutang if u not confident u can pay it back, if you still want to do MLM kind of business n dchl is too expensive try to find other MLM, theres always a choice n you can always say no if you dont want. dont do something out of ur own limit. dun easily influence by the marketing plan, its either u gain money or u loss ur money. guys,, think carefully, do research first b4 u join. like me.. =)

It means that you are buying on other ppl's dream and other ppl vision. It became an unnatural vision, deep inside that dream doesn't belongs to you. You became another person! You are mentally weak!
5. Wrong motif! If you enter the business (in fact any business) to make money, then you will end up being a crook. For you are not adding value to the society but you want the society to provide you with what you want. Ask yourself, are you into the business because you want to help ppl or you are more excited about the mkt plan and the money.
There are more, but if you really know what you are doing and not banging yr head on the wall with all those mental hype and dreaming, by all means do it.
I have seen successful ppl in mlm with all the charisma and all the good spiritual values. I have seen some crooks as well, claiming making a 100k/mth from the plan and when you look at the total sales from the counter adds up together also not yet 100k. So how can the company pays him 100k/mth in compensation.
MLM is here to stay, but yes, please do not disturb the mind of the students. Study doesn't mean you are doomed to be an employee for the rest of your life. To me, studying help me in my critical thinking and maturity.
Lastly, don't be a millionaire wannabe! Learn step by step on how to be one!
Well, is enough to tell me about those who are doing well, y not start telling me now those who still cant make it, still financially independent? those who are suffering, those who even having debt now?
Or is there anyone from MLM wanna tell me, most ppl inside are earning 5 figures?? everyone driving at least a BMW??

The whole problem in Asia lies in the mentality of the peole involved turning it to brainwash the less suspecting people. Its a disgrace and a masquerade and its become a load of crock.
Best example is Lampu Berger, the upline recruit the younger people to instill a mindset that is so fake that it becomes a show. Find yourself at Wisma HLA in the evening to see all these people in the lobby literally best dressed for a simple ordinary sales talk?!?! these people dont even dress this well when they report in for duty in their 9-5 jobs. Its just uncalled for having to dress so well to attend a sales talk to sell a lamp?!?!?
I have encountered more than one MLM sales pitch and Lamp Berger takes the cake. I accepted an invitation to attend one of these meetings one fine day and I decided to dress down for the occasion and boy did I get the stares from the so-called-yuppies (my foot!) These young and innocent crowd gave me the stares that implied a sense of superiority which makes my stomach churn thinking about it. Knowing that they have just embarked into the real/working world its really sad to see them bening led into the wrong avenue.

When one lacks the two elements above, we get all kinds of illegal businesses booming in the name of a growing economy. Yes, we can even slap "LEGAL" to some of this business, since it benefits directly to the entity who slaps it and the one that is slapped. As long as the slappings benefit the slapped and the slappers, nobody is going to complain, not even the victims.
So, if we cannot change how businesses are run, how businessman behaves, how they go around selling their stuff, we can only help ourselves by equiping ourselves with the knowledge and information about the events around us.
Yes, we might say NO to LB today, but I can guarantee there'll be many other scams that's looming and being planned right now at this moment in the drawing board, waiting only to victimize the uninformed.

I heard that many qualified people (lecturers, docs, ..) have joined DCHL, do you think those people will be successful? According to your arguments, these guys have already contributed enough to the society and unfortunately they don't have money after long service.
Rewording for professionals is not fair which encouraged them to run after few more $$ here and there.
oh btw, i also realized that SYN/DCHL has their network all over asia (including Singapore and Australia)... does that mean SYN/DCHL bribes all the country's authorities? Man... they must be powerful briber... talking about this, if Malaysian gov, media or consumer association are not doing anything about it, why not raised this to international level (go to CNN, BBC) cause it's all over asia!! Traditional MLM is good, buy and sell, just like a distributor. but not LB style, earn money by recruiting, surely product is good, no comment on that, but you have to think how long you can use for RM30,000 product, it doesn't make sense to buy in so lot of product.

selling price:RM4.00
selling price-cost = RM2.00 (margin)
1 container can load in 20,400cans
20,400cans X RM2.00 = RM40,800 (margin)
RM40,800 X 12 month = RM489,600
It take 2 years to make you a millionaire.

next, they take me to see their official briefers(i dont know wat they call them). he explain to me about the prodcuts, dats fine n next he explains to me how u get the profit. the thg is, he doesnot focus on selling the product but by find people to invest in lb. they just use the product as a skin to cover their real activities.
since im a student, he thinks that i will be very interested with all the richness d world can give me..telling me that i will be in the high social circle or in the rich group if i join and aint that wats a gurl wants?????oh...plz...dat is so just not me..im not a poor and desperate to join..im happy being myself

when i went to this dchl office i realize that this fellow (u know who) put their money to buy branded or expensive thing as to make them look smart,grand,and luxury just to promote their so called "luxury" in front of their potential investor so that it will convince them how rich they are... . nah.. im not easily influenced by that, coz i always meet real rich and successful people and believe me u can differentiate who is pretending to be rich people or the real one. (i know there a rich people there but not all rite)
actually i wonder what are they doing at their so called office anyway. some of them just standing outside the office talking n repeating the same thing wad they told me to new comers. i went to dat office many times and that is the only MLM office until now dat i didnt see any sales (u know like people buy stuff) compare to other MLMs. people were just keep on talking and talking the same thing non stop like robot. keep on saying that they x sell product but networking. what the purpose of the products then? expensive plak tu.. theres a franchase dat just start for 3 weeks dgn bangganya told me dat she rejected a job offer coz she wants to concentrate to this business. you know for me thats a silly act. i understand if she already gain a lot from this business but she just a beginner .. she datang office pun just tengok2 n just talk2.. its better for her to accept the job offer while doing the business.. when dah stable then maybe its fine for here to quit.
a lot of things to share actually, after saw with my own eyes what happened and read all the articles about pyramid scam (mengkayakan org atasan?) n this syn thingy i dont want to join. but when I look at my bestfriend face that really want me to join.. duh.. dunno wad to say. she invested 30+++ k already, she's a student, she borrowed the money from a lot of people, including me. should i join? or not? now she seems like think about money, money and money. money is really important nowadays but it still not everything. money cant buy real friendship if u get what i mean. i may not a big spender, but i rather saving compare to join this kind of business coz i will not just cost 2.5k. it will be more than that. fuel, makan2, attend this and that, reload card,my time.
for those who want to join, think carefully, dont let money change you, dont let people force you to do something that you cant. dun berhutang if u not confident u can pay it back, if you still want to do MLM kind of business n dchl is too expensive try to find other MLM, theres always a choice n you can always say no if you dont want. dont do something out of ur own limit. dun easily influence by the marketing plan, its either u gain money or u loss ur money. guys,, think carefully, do research first b4 u join. like me.. =)
