So, what’s the deal with this new Maybank2u (M2U) website?
Yes, there are finally getting rid of the ugly website which has been active since I started using Maybank2u in 2002. Of course, they’ve added many features along the way, but the ugly structure has re ... Continue reading »

  • I think you should head the revamp for Maybank! At least you have more ideas to make it user-friendly rather than just a an expensive cosmetic upgrade. But bravo to Wahid for bringing this on anyway.
  • they mentioned they didn't have the budget for back-end revamp. well at least the cosmetic upgrade looks a heck lot better!
  • Yup, it definitely seems like Estée Lauder at work :-D
  • Penny: If I am to head the revamp for Maybank, I would first modify the logo, adding more man-hood to the tiger. Right now, it looks like a tiger sniffing too much laughing gas...

  • Hey Carson, give them a break. Their priority now is to calm their shareholders on their reckless BII deal. Maybank2u's loading time? I think that could be the last thing on their mind right now.
  • Now that I am using the new Maybank2u's revamped site, I can only say that the usability has been disastrously compromised. A few examples:

    1) I'm still looking for the link to add new Favorite 3rd Party Account. No luck so far.

    2) Clicking the browser's back button results in automatic being logout of the site. A major turn-off.

    3) Site is extremely slow. I think this would improve over time, but I would have expect Maybank to be prepared for this migration.
