Mid Valley to Increase Parking Rate » Meshio.com- a Malaysia Personal Finance Blog

I'm not surprised, and frankly, I'd MUCH rather pay RM3 than to go in circles for 20 min trying to find parking. I already avoid MidValley on the weekends - it's impossible to find parking.
And compared to Low Yat Plaza, it's RM2 or RM2.50 an HOUR. Once I was there for 4-5 hours, and had to pay RM9.

I do expect number of visitors to drop. Question is, how much. There are newer and free parking places for ppl to meet up and do businesses.
Think about it.

One thing is sure though, watching a movie in Megamall will be much more costly compared to other cineplexes.

I think I would rather choose other shopping complex for eg: 1U... although they charge parking fees by hours but atleast they give the sufficient time limit (count by 1st 6hrs =RM1) We wouldn't just go home after watch movie but will do some shopping after that...
