    I don't mind at all.

I'm not surprised, and frankly, I'd MUCH rather pay RM3 than to go in circles for 20 min trying to find parking. I already avoid MidValley on the weekends - it's impossible to find parking.

And compared to Low Yat Plaza, it's RM2 or RM2.50 an HOUR. Once I was there for 4-5 hours, and had to pay RM9.

it's still cheap. i used to go there just to browse books and magazines at mph the whole day on my school holidays and only pay rm1 the whole day, howzat for freeloader.

actually welcome the increase to halau some shoppers like me who go there and don't buy anything.

will make that place little bit not jam,. :)

U wiill pay RM7/day and still going around looking for parking. Even with recent expansion, still not enough space and ppl still do side parking and left the hand break free.

I do expect number of visitors to drop. Question is, how much. There are newer and free parking places for ppl to meet up and do businesses.

    Think about it.

Probably one way for Mid Valley to suck more money is to sell more advertisement space, rather than increasing the parking fee. Well, problem of selling space, a question waiting to be answered.

Well, when you have the traffic, you are king. I can't blame them for increasing the rate, since that will directly filter out window-shoppers and "freeloaders" which is equally good for the retailers and overall business as a whole.

One thing is sure though, watching a movie in Megamall will be much more costly compared to other cineplexes.

Actually the main purpose is not just to suck money but also to reduce the ppl who park there and go other place through commuter plus to ease the jam and increase quality(real) shopper to midvalley..
    Just my 2 cent..

Actually we can choose other shooping area but i think more or less other favourite shopping area will be the same..maybe for movie goer you can try Time Square as time square usually not that pack and easy to get ticket sometime even on weekend. And usually RM1-RM2 cheaper then Midvalley as well.

It charges RM1 for the first 3 hrs, the time is too short for movie goer...
I think I would rather choose other shopping complex for eg: 1U... although they charge parking fees by hours but atleast they give the sufficient time limit (count by 1st 6hrs =RM1) We wouldn't just go home after watch movie but will do some shopping after that...

This is a real memo by MV mgt. The shop tenants already received this news end of last year.
