Good post! I am gaining back my lose now from StudioTraffic. Due to the scam of Stormpay, many good autosurfs turned out to be scam. So I am affected also... I just hope ST will pay me and then I can get out from these scams.

    Bro, someone burned you ass?

Haha...no lah, nobody burned my ass. Just wanted to list down some facts for those who might not be too aware on the difference between a pyramid scheme and an actual legal business model.

MaxE, by the way, Singapore has got an interesting FAQ on MLM & Pyramid Scheme: http://app.mti.gov.sg/default.asp?id=567

I unfortuantely have a few friends that have recently falllen for MLM schemes... Notably Agel and NuSkin. They seem to be mushrooming here in Israel.

Note that I say scheme and not scam... My friends recieved the products that they paid for, unfortunately I don't think that anyone even made back their initial buy-in fee, much less actually make anything!

Like my daddy taught me, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

If you don't know what are you doing, the risk is coming.
I don't think MLM is a easy business yet i'm not deny it as great business model.
The important things about MLM is your selection & attitude. If we want to be in this business, be brace yourself to accept a lot of rejections, critic, trouble etc.

There are always bad apples, and always bad people within organizations. Though the company themselves may be legit, the people recruiting you into their downline could be complete scum - so know what you're getting into.

This list is not all lies. It depends upon the person who is into MLM that makes it a lie in some aspects.
